An Advanced Improvised Explosive Device Disposal course conducted last week at Northwest Florida Regional Airport was planned in January but occurred the night before authorities hunted down the Boston Marathon bombing suspects. The course is open to domestic military technicians and students from federal agencies, and it teaches them how to dismantle and dispose of bombs.
