High conversion rates make mobile worth the effort

Mobile may be a uniquely promising platform for many marketers, owing to sales conversion rates that can average more than 25% in some sectors, said John Busby, senior vice president of the Marchex Institute. There are challenges, but "for campaigns that have effective ways to identify and filter out spam, fraud, and other low-intent actions, the mobile consumer is very likely to convert," he said.
