Mobile application provides gluten information

GlutenSwitch, a mobile application introduced in Australia, provides gluten information for scanned items and recommends alternatives that contain no gluten. The application could encourage food-makers to introduce more and better gluten-free products, said Dr. Elizabeth Dunford, lead researcher at the GlutenSwitch initiative.
