NASA: Commercial jet flies just as well on biofuel

Scientists at NASA's Langley Research Center found that a commercial jet can fly just as well on a camelina plant oil biofuel mix as it does on traditional jet fuel. Researchers found that a Douglas DC-8 flying at up to 39,000 feet had no measurable difference in engine performance and had up to 30% fewer carbon emissions.
