Negativity breeds negativity, Twitter researchers say

People are more likely to post negative comments when they're exposed to negative tweets posted by other people, say researchers from the American Council on Science and Health. That suggests that a negative post can generate a kind of self-perpetuating snowball effect, the researchers say.
