Redevelopment plan for Washington's Old Post Office advances

Donald Trump and daughter Ivanka Trump's proposed design for the conversion of the Old Post Office Pavilion has received initial approval from the U.S. Commission of Fine Arts. Plans call for the property to be redeveloped into a 271-room luxury hotel while retaining its historic elements. "We have been working with the Commission of Fine Arts for over a year and their feedback and guidance has been invaluable. We look forward to our continued collaboration as we work towards realizing the full potential of this national treasure," Ivanka Trump said.
