Sen. Graham works to lower costs of S.C. MOX project

Sen. Lindsey Graham, R-S.C., will collaborate with the Department of Energy and the contractors of the mixed-oxide fuel project in South Carolina to bring down the project's costs. The facility's costs have been modified to $7.7 billion from an earlier $4.9 billion. Tighter oversight could help lower the costs, Graham said, adding he remains confident in the project's technology.
