Video study finds cancer patients open to CPR discussions

Researchers said most terminally ill cancer patients shown videos of a physician discussing cardiopulmonary resuscitation with a fictional cancer patient said they would not choose the intervention for that person. The study from the University of Texas MD Anderson Cancer Center, published in the journal Cancer, also found patients watching the videos commended the physicians for their compassion when discussing the subject.
