CBOE glitch will test Regulation SCI

The technical glitch that closed the Chicago Board Options Exchange on Thursday will be a test for Regulation SCI, a proposed Securities and Exchange Commission rule that stands for Systems Compliance and Integrity. Regulation SCI would require "certain key market participants to have comprehensive policies and procedures in place surrounding their technological systems," the SEC says.
