Conn. summit focuses on school breakfast programs

At Connecticut's second annual School Breakfast Summit, education leaders discussed strategies for increasing participation in school breakfast programs. Officials noted that not all schools that participate in the National School Lunch Program also serve breakfast. Last year, 59 schools added breakfast programs, compared with 28 the year before.
