DVR use on the rise; more commercials will be skipped

New research to be released Friday shows TV viewers skip about 6% of TV commercials using their DVRs, and, fast-forwarding the trend to 2011, about 16% of the ads will be missed. DVR Research Institute's "Advertising in the DVR Age" projects the number of DVR users will grow from 30 million to 50 million by the end of 2011.
