Calif. pediatrician helps create YEah! to fight obesity

A California pediatrician and her jogging buddies teamed up to create the Youth Engaged in Activities for Health, or YEah!, program to fight childhood obesity in children ages 6 to 16. Dr. Mindy Gaddis and friends, who included a dietitian, physical therapist and exercise therapist, blended their specialties for the pilot program that gets the entire family involved in helping children adopt healthier behaviors and diets.
