Biotech crop-makers to launch campaign against labeling drive

Major biotech crop developers Monsanto, DuPont and Dow Chemical said they are putting together a broad campaign intended to sway the public's sentiment in favor of biotech crops in response to increasing calls for biotech food labeling. The firms will use the initiative to convey the benefits of biotech crops. The companies said they are still finalizing the details of the campaign, but it is expected to include a focus on social media.
