Boeing confirms aircraft part found in NYC is from 767

Boeing confirmed that an aircraft part found in Manhattan near the 9/11 site was from a 767. The trailing edge flap actuation support structure was found wedged one story above ground level in an alley. Paul Browne, NYPD spokesman, said the part "is believed to be from one of the two aircraft destroyed on September 11, 2001, but it could not be determined which one."
