Exec: U.S. would benefit from further LNG exports

The Department of Energy needs to approve more liquefied natural gas export projects, writes Bill Cooper, president of the Center for Liquefied Natural Gas. The U.S. economy stands to benefit from LNG exports, and several studies have shown that such projects would have only a minimal impact on natural gas prices. Such projects are also supported by several trade groups and major companies, Cooper writes.
