GAO: EPA lacks strategy for chemical reform

The Environmental Protection Agency lacks a proper strategy to reform its regulatory efforts for chemicals, according to report released by the Government Accountability Office. The agency must "develop strategies that address challenges impeding its ability to ensure chemical safety and identify the resources needed" for enforcement, the report states.
