Georgia's blueberry business booms to 70 million pounds

Georgia's farmers are closing in on 20,000 acres of blueberries and are expected to bring about 70 million pounds of the fruit to market in the coming weeks, despite a March freeze. Meanwhile, growers in Florida, California, Mexico, North Carolina and New Jersey have been planting new varieties and moving their harvest times to share Georgia's late-spring selling season.
