HIT startups to receive seed funds from health tech accelerator

Dr. Hubert Zajicek, a physician with a specialty in kidney research, has partnered with general technology accelerator Tech Wildcatters and investment group Green Park & Golf Ventures to unveil the Health Wildcatters program in Dallas. The health technology accelerator will offer up to $35,000 in seed money to 15 health IT startups in exchange for 8% equity in the companies. In addition, the companies will be mentored by investors who will help guide them through business issues in the health care industry.
