How to inspire more girls to study science, tech

Girls should be encouraged to take more science and engineering courses to help correct the gender imbalance in those fields, says Carmina Mancenon, an engineering major at Princeton University and Japan's representative at the G(irls)20 Summit, a gathering of female students from each of the G20 nations. One way to help interest more girls in these fields is to appeal to subjects they may already like, such as fashion, she says.
