Many leaders expect higher outpatient volume in 2013

Sixty-nine percent of health care leaders and managers surveyed expect outpatient volume will increase this year, while nearly 24% said inpatient volume will decline in 2013, according to data from Premier Healthcare Alliance. Researchers noted that 43% of respondents expect the largest share of their organizations' spending will address health IT and telecommunications needs.
