Minn. school district prepares for changes in state social studies standards

Faribault School District in Minnesota is getting ready as the next school year will bring changes to the state's social studies curriculum. Officials said that, as part of the changes, American history will be the focus in seventh grade with the addition of economics, civic and geography, while eighth grade will focus more on geography with added world history, civics and economics.
