Standardized tests fail to measure what students have learned, writes National Board Certified Teacher Renee Moore. Rather, she writes in this blog post, testing expert Jim Popham finds that the exams do more to measure students' socioeconomic status than their academic abilities. Moore writes that other options that have been offered by experienced educators should be further explored.
