New-device market for imaging hit $24.1B in 2012

Sales of new global imaging equipment accounted for about $24.1 billion last year, according to an analyst at Frost & Sullivan. GE, Philips and Siemens led the pack with 78% of the market. Eleven percent was held by Fujifilm, Toshiba and Hitachi, and the final 11% went to other firms.
