Sen. Orrin Hatch, R-Utah, says immigration reform must happen now for the country's economy, for people in the U.S. illegally and for his Mormon faith. Faced with the challenge of persuading his party to vote for reform, Hatch said the current bipartisan Senate proposal is a good starting point, and he praised the efforts of Sen. Marco Rubio, R-Fla., who has taken a leadership role in the deliberations on the bill.
