Publicis CEO says his strategy won't include Interpublic

Publicis Groupe CEO Maurice Levy says he's trying to build something "rock solid" with his plan for $4 billion in acquisitions in the next five years. But taking over another big holding company such as Interpublic, which would entail a restructuring, isn't in the cards. Citing his own initial missteps at Publicis' helm, Levy says his strategy is to leave a company that can survive the early mistakes "a successor will inevitably make."
