UniCredit won't trade OTC derivatives with U.S. entities

Upcoming U.S. regulations have prompted Italy's UniCredit to avoid trading over-the-counter derivatives with U.S. financial institutions. The bank is concerned that the new rules will come with burdensome requirements and increased costs. Other banks have also said that they won't register with the Commodity Futures Trading Commission as swap dealers.
