VA officials overseeing claims backlog won't receive bonuses

The Department of Veterans Affairs said Monday that it wouldn't give bonuses to some senior officials because of performance issues and instead would use the money to reduce the backlog of disability claims. The department didn't provide details about how many executives would be affected or the total amount of bonus money to be withheld.
