Wars boost global internally displaced population to 28M

The wars in the Democratic Republic of the Congo and Syria have caused the number of displaced people to increase dramatically, with the current world total at 28 million, says the Internal Displacement Monitoring Centre. Colombia has the biggest internally displaced population, followed by Syria and Congo.
