Wash. state voters to decide GM food-labeling issue

The Legislature in Washington State adjourned without taking any action on Initiative 522, a measure that would require genetically modified food to be labeled, which means the issue goes on the ballot for voters to decide in November. California voters narrowly voted down a similar measure on the ballot there last year.
