AAP: Pediatricians have intervention role in IPV cases

An AAP report said pediatricians can intervene in intimate partner violence cases by identifying abused caregivers and evaluating and treating children raised in those homes. The report in Pediatrics said children exposed to IPV have a higher risk of abuse and neglect and are more likely to have adverse health, behavior, psychological and social problems.
