American-history students "experience" the Civil War era

Students in Indiana middle-school teacher Jim Seibe's history classes don't just read about the American Civil War era -- they experience it by participating in historically appropriate activities such as playing a baseball-like game of Rounders and writing songs and poetry. "We even do photography that they tried to stage in the Civil War," said Seibe of his students.
