$4.76B of additional work OK'd for Los Angeles airport

Modernization work continues at Los Angeles International Airport and it became an even larger project when the City Council approved an additional $4.76 billion worth of projects. The added improvements entail moving two runways so a center taxiway can be added. However, one of the runways will be moved closer to two residential neighborhoods, and some are concerned the area will be "degraded." Lawsuits are likely.
