ASTA conference revamp goes high-profile, education-focused

ASTA is counting on the appearance of high-profile personalities to jump-start attendance at its newly refreshed annual conference. Former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton and Royal Caribbean CEO Richard Fain have been tapped to speak before travel agents at the upcoming ASTA Global Convention. The revamp also includes an education program that will provide hands-on training. "We want agents to walk away with hands-on practical experience," said ASTA President and CEO Zane Kerby.
