Business and consumer confidence slides in eurozone

The European Commission's combined indicator of business and consumer confidence in the eurozone has reached 88.6 this month, down 1.5 points from 90.1 in March. Deepening pessimism about the services sector was the biggest factor. The largest declines in confidence were in Germany and France.
