CBO evaluates cost of implementing anti-E15 bill

Implementing a bill that would halt the rollout of E15 pending further studies would cost the federal government about $1 million, but it would not affect direct spending, according to the Congressional Budget Office. Because of the relatively small volume of E15 sales, the measure's cost to the private sector would be within the $150 million cap of the Unfunded Mandates Reform Act, the CBO said.
