Coke kiosks become "beacons of light" in Kenya

Coca-Cola is launching a solar panel pilot project in Kenya that gives operators of Coca-Cola kiosks the ability to have lights and to charge phones and radios. "[W]e believe this project with One Degree Solar will go a long way in helping retailers and kiosk owners extend their operating hours, reduce their operating costs, and experience the numerous benefits of renewable energy," says Patrick Pech of Nairobi Bottlers.
