Consortium wants to make programming for multicore systems easier

The Heterogeneous System Architecture Foundation today is unveiling a uniform memory architecture as part of its efforts to reduce the complexity of programming for multicore systems. The HUMA architecture is said to have dynamic memory allocation and offers faster access to system memory for graphics processing units.
