Cypress pushes PSoCs into 32-bit territory, challenging MCUs, FPGAs

Cypress Semiconductor is advancing its programmable system-on-a-chip line into the field of 32-bit processing, turning out its PSoC 4 device with a Cortex M0 core from ARM Holdings. The move is intended to make the company more competitive in the microcontroller market and to present a bigger challenge to field-programmable gate arrays.
