Donay's system compensates developers for open-source work

Donay is enticing open-source developers with the prospect of compensation for fixing bugs or adding features, Frederic Lardinois writes. Companies add an incentive button with the promise of inspecting the fix or feature within a specified amount of time, then compensate the developer as promised. "Github could also use Donay to create a new revenue stream. They could, for example, put a Donay link on every issue page and then ask users to chip in to get this issue fixed," Lardinois writes.
