The FDA announced Tuesday that it has approved Teva Pharmaceuticals' Plan B One-Step contraceptive for girls as young as 15 without a prescription. "Research has shown that access to emergency contraceptive products has the potential to further decrease the rate of unintended pregnancies," said FDA Commissioner Margaret Hamburg.
