W Hotels' global growth is proceeding smoothly, with 60 property openings lined up by the end of 2015, says Paul James, luxury brand leader for Starwood Hotels & Resorts Worldwide. The luxury hotel firm will continue to focus on non-ownership projects, James said. "Starwood's overall philosophy is asset-light. That is our key strategy, but when the right project needs some form of equity or ownership, we will step in," James said.
