It appears an in-class breakfast program in Los Angeles schools will remain in place, after a majority of L.A. Unified School Board members said they intend the keep the program. Board member Bennett Kayser recently visited a school to see the program -- which feeds nearly 200,000 students -- in action. He said the whole process took about 10 minutes, and students who finished early used the time to read.
