Lawmaker criticizes DOD contract for Chinese satellite

Rep. Mike Rogers, R-Ala., is questioning the use of a Chinese satellite by the Pentagon. The Department of Defense leased the Apstar-7 satellite for one year under a $10.6 million contract. "It sends a terrible message to our industrial base at a time when it is under extreme stress" from the sequester, Rogers said.
