Making the case for the Marketplace Fairness Act

As the Senate appears poised to approve the Marketplace Fairness Act, NRF's Rachelle Bernstein makes the case for the law that would allow states to require online retailers to collect sales tax in this interview. The bill would help small merchants combat showrooming and help states shore up their coffers, she says. Meanwhile, eBay's Brian Bieron argues against the bill's provision to include retailers that book $1 million or more in annual sales.
