Nielsen in the coming months will be conducting a pilot program for measuring online TV viewing, with A+E Networks, Discovery, Univision, NBC and Fox among the cable and broadcast networks participating. Networks will compare the Nielsen Digital Program Ratings to their own numbers for viewing on their websites, in the hopes that executives will become more comfortable with the service ahead of its wider debut.
