Sridhar Ramaswamy, Google's senior vice president of ads and commerce, says he's cultivating a focus on mobile devices, advocating developing with a tablet's needs in mind first and then adapting a program's concept for phones and then desktops. He says Google is focusing on how indoor mapping for smartphones can enhance the in-store experience and designing products with tablets foremost in mind. "We see mobile as striking a nice bridge between online and offline," said Ramaswamy.
