Samsung, Pattern Energy begin work on Canadian wind project

Samsung Renewable Energy and Pattern Energy Group have started construction on the 270-megawatt South Kent Wind project in Ontario, Canada. The 124-turbine facility is the first project under a renewable-energy pact between Samsung and the Ontario government. The project will use wind turbine towers built by CS Wind in Windsor and wind turbine blades built by Siemens in Tillsonburg.
