U.K. sales of drinks and at-home food are poised to rise

Mintel predicts that U.K. shoppers will spend 18% more on at-home food and 25% more on nonalcoholic drinks during the next five years. "Food is one essential that people are really unlikely to cut back on. ... The rate of innovation has been exciting," senior food analyst Alex Beckett said.
