Verizon brings cloud-based backup to Android with IOS on the way

Verizon Wireless, betting that its customers will want to back up or sync smartphone files over its network, has introduced Verizon iCloud for Android and the Web, with an iOS version for cross-platform use coming "soon." The service will enable users to back up media libraries, call logs, contacts and messages daily with the carrier providing the first 500 megabytes of data at no charge.
