Wine startup pushes for kegs in all states

Free Flow Wines, which sells wine in kegs, distributes its product to 36 states. But Florida hasn't been on Free Flow's list because of an old state law banning the sale of wine in large containers. Free Flow hired a lobbying firm and sought to build support to overturn the law, as it did in Pennsylvania and Texas, and state lawmakers recently passed legislation to remove the restriction. Free Flow is on track to generate $1.6 million worth of revenue this year and hopes to reach national chain restaurants through the Florida market.
